KazMunaiGaz and Pietrovietnam signed a memo on mutual understanding, the company informed.
It stipulates joint participation in the prospecting, development and extraction of hydrocarbonds in Kazakhstan.
KazMunaiGaz is a national operator of the prospecting, production, refining and shipment of gas. 100% in the Company are held by Samruk-Kazyna National Fund.
The 2011-consolidated profit at KazMunaiGaz added 24% to come to 379.2bn tenge, the company informed.
The consolidated revenues reached 2.8tril tenge to exceed the 2010-figures by 25%.
The consolidated oil/gas output in 2011 declined 4% to 21.1mln ton against prior year figures (2.8bn m3 of gas were gushed out).
66.9mln ton were shipped through the pipelines; crude oil refining coming to 15.3mln ton.
