o Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) took a step in Vietnam with the signing of a Petroleum Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for the Block 11-2, Offshore Vietnam since 1992. At present, KNOC is actively involved in numerous projects in upstream oil and gas industry in Vietnam. KNOC Vietnam is now in stage of development of discovered gas field Rong Doi and Rong Doi Tay. Commencing end of 2006, gas from this field is transporting onshore through subsea Nam Con Son pipeline and supplying Vietnamese gas consumers for over 23 years.

- Focal point for all facility & Piping maintenance engineering issues for the Rong Doi Installation.
- Member of the Onshore Support Team attends morning call for Mechanical discipline.
- Provide general day to day Facility & piping maintenance engineering support for daily platform operations.
- Facility & piping maintenance focal point for maximo queries, in particular work management, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, PM/JP implementation and review including PMR analysis.
- Provide Facility & piping maintenance engineering support for queries relating to legislative requirements for the maintenance, testing and inspection activities for platform Facility & piping of plant and equipment.
- Travel offshore if required for audit or any maintenance purpose
- Conduct audit (Engineering & Safety) of all Facility & piping systems and equipment records.
- Coordinates vendors and others in the identification and mobilization of support services and to resolve maintenance issues.
- Assist in the long and short term work planning program, attends work planning meetings and confirms vendor mobilization and work priorities.
- Provides a monthly maintenance performance/ issues/ action report to the Maintenance Team Leader.
- Be responsible for M.O.C and E.C.P review and implementation for their discipline, (Facility & Piping).
- Provides technical/ legislation guidance in the management and application of
* Classification.
* Underwater Survey.
* Structural integrity.
* Piping System.
* Vessel Inspection.
- Provides Technical Authority support in the management of the Performance Standard, Verification and Examination schemes.
- Coordinate onshore equipment repair services via established Work Order System.
- Coordinate and manage all relevant Call Off contracts.
- Identifies improvements to the maintenance strategy and planned maintenance routines.
- Implements actions as identified on the maintenance improvement plans and asset integrity compliance plans.
- Ensures that all Piping & Facilities are maintained such that safety and integrity of the facility is maintained at the highest level.
- Provide continual analysis/ introduction of industry best practices to the Rong Doi Installation.

- Engineering Degree, in Mechanical (or Piping) engineering.
- More than 5 years in Oil & Gas industry preferably, with some supervisory experience.
- A good knowledge of Process systems, and design with hands on experience.
- Have ability to organize own work and meet strict deadlines.
- Computer Literate in Data base/ spreadsheet and relevant software.
- Good leadership skills, along with communication and interpersonal skills.
