Open -Production Supervisor Trainee:
Education/Qualification:
University degree in technical trade, i.e. chemical, mechanical, electrical or petroleum engineering field.
Certificates of technical, management, safety and other related courses.
Strong planning, organizational and team-working skills.
Supervisory skill and experiences in offshore environment.
Fluency in English (both communication & writing skill).
Computer literacy.
Oil/Gas experience:
More than 10 years working experience in oil and gas industry with at least 3 years experiences in supervising multi-ethnic and multi-skilled workforce.
A high degree of initiative in being able to provide first line diagnosis for production problems, meet production target and cost control oriented.
Fully conversant with offshore best practices, safety regulations, PTW system, ERP, JSA, etc…
Good communication and reporting skills and have an established record as a production supervisor or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
Assist Production Supervisor with day to day responsibilities including:
Health, Safety and Environment:
Responsible for other personnel and own safety and environmental matters.
Act as ERT member during emergency at Rong Doi Platform. Assist Production Supervisor/OIM on the structural integrity of the platform and systems.
Ensure the fire/rescue team has properly mustered and the on-shift personnel are responding to recover any plant abnormal situations.
Assist and liaise with Production Team and the terminal control room on an on-going basis.
Operations:
Review and update O&M procedures as required.
Act as Production Supervisor when absence on board.
Control inventory & documentations for supply and return of goods to the platform.
Perform regular stock check and inspection for chemicals, consumables, spares and safety equipment and make replenishment request.
Report to Production Supervisor or Designate on daily basis for production and maintenance activities and on monthly basis for stock check, production and equipment uptime.
Implement the production operations plans and provide the required feedback and inputs.
Perform a leading role in the development of the production personnel.
To achieve or exceed the requirements for the key target areas within his control.
Ensure that the required gas nomination is safely achieved on a daily basis.
Ensure that each well nomination and ranking corresponds to the reservoir and production requirements.
Responsible, manage and overall execution of the Permit to Work system and ensure the required precautions are stipulated and applied as per the procedures and good practices.
Ensure good house keeping on equipment and at platform.
Assist Production Supervisor of any operational problems or issues, and also recommend solutions for implementation.
Attend daily operations meeting.
Liaise with other parties such as vendors, and work over activities. Manage any interface issues in conjunction with Production Supervisor as required. Ensure a safety briefing is held before commencement of the work. Monitor the progress of the third parties.
Conduct necessary preparations in advance for the daily requirements as highlighted in the two week plan, including Permit to Work preparations, necessary isolations, safety precautions, material supply, etc. Minimize any delay incurred on waiting for Permit to Work issue. Organize, schedule and monitor the progress on the planned activities
Ensure all tools, materials and consumables are available prior to authorizing approval for the work to commence and issue of the Permit to Work.
Active participation in the competency program and ensure personnel progress through the system.
Train and assist employees to be familiar with gas field operation. Especially, transfer of knowledge and experience on its position to production personnel is required.
